Small School (Class 1A-3A)

Cole DeFranco, QB, Notre Dame-Green Pond, Sr.: DeFranco was definitely impressive, connecting on 21 of30 passes for 342 yards and five touchdowns. He accounted for six total touchdown, running for one score in a 42-41 heartbreaking OT loss to Northwestern Lehigh.

Rahmon Hart, WR, Imani Christian Academy, Sr.: Hart, a Ball State commitment, hauled in 8 receptions from Reed for an unbelievable 285 receiving yards. He made the most of his 8 receptions by scoring six touchdowns in Imani Christian’s 80-6 thumping over Richard Wright Public Charter School from Washington, D.C.

Israel Reed, QB, Imani Christian Academy, Sr.: Reed had a phenomenal game, passing for 426 yards and seven touchdowns. He was extremely efficient while completing 13 of 17 passes and leading Imani Christian to 80-6 trouncing over Richard Wright Public Charter from Washington, D.C.

Nicari Williams, QB, Steel-High, Jr.: Williams completed 16 of 33 passes for 357 yards while throwing for five touchdowns in 59-33 victory against Newport. He was responsible for six touchdowns and also carried the ball 12 times for 55 yards and one score.

Big School (Class 4A-6A)

Jamie Diven, QB, South Fayette, Sr.: Diven shredded the Upper St. Clair defense, completing 22 of 32 for 368 yards and four touchdowns in South Fayette’s 34-33 loss to Upper St. Clair. The loss ended its 57-game regular-season winning streak.

Oleh Manzyk, LB-RB, Neshaminy, Sr.: Offensively, Manzyk toted the rock for 150 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries. On defense, he registered 15 tackles including 13 solo tackles, 3.5 tackles for losses, and 1.5 sacks. Oleh also caused a fumble and recovered one fumble in a agonizing 34-33 double OT loss to North Penn.

Ricky Oretega, QB, Coatesville, Jr.: Ortega rose to the occasion on the big stage in assisting with an emphatic 37-6 victory over Harrisburg in one of the biggest match-ups statewide. He ran for a TD, caught a TD pass on a flea-flicker and threw for two more. Ortega passed for 271 yards and chipped in 16 rushing yards.

Cole Patrick, QB, Elizabethtown, Sr.: Patrick scorched the Donegal defense for 415 passing yards while completing 18 of 25 passes with four touchdown strikes. He also collected 80 rushing yards on just three carries, plus two scores on the ground, as Elizabethtown defeated Donegal 49-33.
