List of Week 3 Nominees

Small School (Class 1A-3A)

Michael Daure, RB, Keystone Oaks, Sr.: Daure rushed for 388 yards on 27 carries Friday night in a 48-18 victory at Hopewell. He also scored five touchdowns on runs of 97, 41, 1, 2 and 67 yards and threw a 73-yard touchdown pass to C.J. Morrow.

Brady Fyfe, QB, Shade, Sr.: Brady accounted for 514 yards of total offense while also being responsible for six Shade touchdowns. He threw for four touchdowns and scored two more on the ground as Shade romped past the Meyersdale 48-20 on a rainy night.

Ben Jackson, RB, West Greene, Jr.: Ben rushed for 336 yards and five touchdowns on 18 carries and was a major factor in West Greene’s huge win over Chartiers-Houston on Friday night.

Gerald Ross, WR, Loyalsock Township, Sr.: Gerald reeled in 10 receptions for a whopping 211 yards in a 35-0 victory over Shikellamy. Ross reached the end zone three times in the win Friday night.

 

 Big School (Class 4A-6A)

Kane Everson, QB-DB, Harrisburg, Sr.: Kane led the performance, completing 16 of 19 passes for 349 yards and four touchdowns. Everson added 109 rushing yards and two more touchdowns in a comfortable victory over Cedar Cliff by a 46-13 final score.

Caleb Rockey, DE, Bellefonte, Sr.: Rockey had an incredible defensive performance in a 55-7 crushing win over Philipsburg-Osceola Friday night. Caleb accounted for 8 tackles and registered 7 tackles for loss and sacked the quarterback an astounding 5 times.

Nyzair Smith, RB, Dallastown, Sr.: On Friday, Smith rushed for 290 yards and five touchdowns on 22 carries. Nyzair helped Dallastown cruise to a 42-7 victory over Penn Manor.

Jake Ventresca, RB, Central Bucks East, Jr.: Jake rushed for 254 yards on 19 carries and scored four touchdowns. Ventresca helped the Patriots throttle previously unbeaten Bensalem 41-12.
