List of Week 4 Nominees

Small School (Class 1A-3A)

John Ayres, RB, Mount Carmel, Sr.: Ayres sprinted for 216 yards on just 11 carries and scored three touchdowns, including two on runs of 55 and 61 yards, respectively. John helped Mount Carmel win comfortably over Jersey Shore 47-7 to improve to 3-1.

Jake Botkin, RB, South Side Beaver, Sr.: Jake carried the ball 40 times for 323 yards and scored two touchdown. He scored on runs of 16 and 4 yards as South Side Beaver defeated Carlynton 54-33 Friday night.

Skyy Moore, QB, Shady Side Academy, Sr.: Skyy connected on 7 of 13 passes for 274 yards with four of those completions going for touchdowns. Moore totaled an impressive 160 yards rushing and three touchdowns in leading Shady Side Academy to a 56-36 victory over Steel Valley.

Dustin Shoaf, RB, Yough, Sr.: Shoaf toted the rock 41 times for 401 yards and scored five touchdowns . Dustin was vital in Yough’s 32-13 victory over Deer Lakes.

 

 

Big School (Class 4A-6A)

Chiago Anyanwu, RB-LB, Milton Hershey, Sr.: Chiago had a fantastic game, rushing 26 times for 307 yards and two touchdowns. Anyanwu helped lead Milton Hershey over Boiling Springs 41-27 Friday night.

Keaton Ellis, WR-DB, State College, Sr.: Ellis, the Penn State commit, had an awesome overall performance Friday night in State College’s resounding 56-17 triumph over Carlisle. He caught 4 passes for 180 yards and three scores, chipped in a 15-yard touchdown run, and scored his fifth touchdown on a 65-yard punt return. Keaton also intercepted a pass.

Kyle McCord, QB, St. Joseph’s Prep, So.: McCord was terrific while connecting on 26 of 38 passes for 369 yards and three touchdowns. He helped the Hawks to a 34-27 victory Friday over Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, Md.). Kyle displayed why he’s rated as one of the top quarterbacks from the Class of 2021.

Dayjure Stewart, RB, York, Sr.: Dayjure has been unstoppable this season while piling up a staggering amount of yards each game. He had his best game yet in York’s 71-14 blowout of New Oxford. Stewart rushed for 419 yards and seven touchdowns and has already surpassed 1,000 rushing yards on the season.
