61st Annual Big 33 Football Classic Preview

The PSFCA is in year two of bringing football fans the The Big 33 High School Football Classic. Tonight’s 61st Annual Big 33 Football Classic is led and organized by Executive Director Garry Cathell. The Big 33 Classic has a new scaled down structure and dynamic, but will still be a valuable experience for the players and fans.  Tonights game will take place at Speed Ebersole Field on the grounds of Central Dauphin Middle School. The game between the best football players in Pennsylvania matches up against the best players in the state of Maryland.

Pennsylvania’s featured players are locals; Charlie Katshir and Christian Arrington of Cumberland Valley, Ronald Kent and Shaquon Anderson-Butts of Harrisburg High, James Lawson of Bishop McDevitt and Grant Smith of Central Dauphin High School. Pennsylvania fans should keep a close eye on the Penn State bound explosive wide receiver Jahan Dotson of Nazareth High School as well as QB’s Marquez McCray and Luke Emge.

Maryland stars include Penn State walk-on Will Knutsson, Shepherd bound Antwan Squire, top rated Virginia recruit Ugo Obasi, Quince Orchard’s dual threat QB Kendall Bonner, attending the Air Force Academy and 6’5″ Donta Anthony of Potomac who will be attending Old Dominion in the Fall.

The Big 33 remains one of the premier football all-star games played in the country. It is truly an honor and a privilege to be selected to participate in this Classic. Good luck to all players taking part in tonights match-up.

Football fans make every attempt to support this Football Classic by attending tonights game; kickoff at 7:00 pm.
